Cast polyamide [PA6 G] is a high–molecular-weight polyamide
produced by the anionic polymerization process carried out inside closed
molds. Because the polymerization occurs directly within the mold, the
material develops a more homogeneous internal structure and significantly
lower internal stress levels compared to extruded polyamides.
Its high molecular weight provides excellent wear resistance, high impact
strength, and good fatigue performance. In addition, its vibration damping
capability is higher than that of metals. These properties make it
particularly suitable for mechanical systems operating under dynamic loads
and impact conditions.
The casting process allows the production of large-diameter billets, thick
plates, and semi-finished products with special geometries. This offers a
significant advantage for heavy-duty industrial applications and components
requiring high mechanical strength.
